About This Chapter

After years of building a strong and successful Sport Management Club, the Grand Valley State University Sport Management Program is leveling up and continuing to grow. Our goal is to create a welcoming community for anyone interested in working in the sports industry, whether you are a Sport Management major or simply passionate about pursuing a career in sports. Through mentorship, professional development, hands-on experience, and meaningful connections, we want to give students the tools they need to succeed in their future careers. With regular guest speakers, group outings, networking opportunities, and a variety of professional resources, we aim to help every student discover their path and find their place within the sports industry.
