1Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Mu Sigma Lambda website, member portal, chapter dashboards, or document-signing tools (collectively, the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Site. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2Eligibility & Membership

Certain areas of the Site, including chapter dashboards, the member portal, dues payment, and document signing, are restricted to verified members, chapter officers, alumni, and national staff. Membership in Mu Sigma Lambda itself, and your standing as a member, is governed by the fraternity's bylaws and each chapter's own requirements, separately from these Terms. These Terms govern only your use of the Site.

3Use of the Website

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Site in any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation
• Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the Site
• Use the Site in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair the Site
• Use any robot, spider, or other automatic device to access the Site for any purpose
• Introduce any viruses, trojan horses, worms, or other malicious or technologically harmful material
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site or any systems or networks connected to the Site

4Account Registration

Accounts are generally created through an invitation tied to your chapter's roster, or by a national administrator. When you create or claim an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate and complete
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security

We reserve the right to disable any user account at any time if, in our opinion, you have failed to comply with these Terms.

5Membership Dues and Payments

If you make dues payments through the Site:

• Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment processor, Stripe; we do not receive or store your full card number
• Dues amounts and types are set by national or chapter leadership
• You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate payment information
• We reserve the right to refuse or reverse any transaction for any reason, including suspected fraud or error
• Dues payments are generally final and non-refundable unless otherwise stated or required by law
• You are responsible for any applicable taxes associated with your transactions

6Merchandise Purchases

We offer official Mu Sigma Lambda merchandise for sale through our online shop. Merchandise purchases are open to the public and are not limited to members.

• Checkout and payment processing for merchandise orders are handled by Shopify and Shopify Payments, our e-commerce platform; we do not receive or store your full card number
• Each item is custom-printed to order and fulfilled by Printify, our print-on-demand production and shipping partner, once your order is placed
• Because items are made to order, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for buyer's remorse, sizing, or color preference
• We will provide a replacement or refund for items that arrive defective, damaged, or incorrect (for example, the wrong item or a misprint), provided you contact us within 30 days of delivery
• Shipping and order details provided at checkout are shared with Printify solely to fulfill your order

To report a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us at the email address provided below within 30 days of delivery.

7Electronic Signatures

The Site allows chapters and the national office to send documents (such as waivers, risk-management forms, or chapter agreements) for electronic signature. By typing your name into a signature form and submitting it, you:

• Affirmatively intend that typed name to serve as your legal signature
• Consent to conducting that transaction electronically, pursuant to the U.S. Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN Act)
• Agree that your electronic signature is legally binding to the same extent as a handwritten signature
• Acknowledge that a signed document cannot be edited or withdrawn once submitted, and is retained as a permanent record

You should carefully review any document before signing it; signing constitutes your agreement to its full contents.

8Chapter Roster and Administrative Data

Chapter officers and national staff may submit or manage information about other members through the Site (for example, roster uploads, exec position assignments, or membership status changes). If you submit information on behalf of other members, you represent that you have the authority to do so and that the information is accurate.

9Intellectual Property Rights

The Site and its entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof) are owned by Mu Sigma Lambda, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

10User Content and Contributions

By submitting, posting, or displaying content on or through the Site ("User Content"), including profile information, bios, photos, and documents you upload or sign, you grant Mu Sigma Lambda a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully paid-up, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and display such User Content in connection with operating and providing the Site.

• You represent and warrant that you own or control all rights to the User Content
• You agree that your User Content will not violate any third-party rights
• You understand that your User Content may be transmitted and published on various platforms
• We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms

11Third-Party Links and Content

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Mu Sigma Lambda. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for:

• The content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services
• Any damage or loss caused by or in connection with use of any third-party content or services
• The accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of information on linked websites

We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party websites or services that you visit.

12Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. NEITHER MU SIGMA LAMBDA NOR ANY PERSON ASSOCIATED WITH MU SIGMA LAMBDA MAKES ANY WARRANTY OR REPRESENTATION WITH RESPECT TO THE COMPLETENESS, SECURITY, RELIABILITY, QUALITY, ACCURACY, OR AVAILABILITY OF THE SITE.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

13Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PROVIDED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL MU SIGMA LAMBDA, ITS AFFILIATES, OR THEIR LICENSORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OFFICERS, OR DIRECTORS BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
• Damages arising out of any use of the Site or inability to use the Site
• Damages arising from any content obtained from or through the Site
• Damages arising from unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data

14Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mu Sigma Lambda, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Site.

15Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in that jurisdiction.

16Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid, illegal, or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal, and enforceable while preserving its original intent.

17Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by us on the Site, constitute the entire agreement between you and Mu Sigma Lambda regarding your use of the Site and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties.
